This is an unofficial fan tool. It is not produced, endorsed, licensed, or authorized by Far Future Enterprises or Mongoose Publishing. Rules references, table names, career names, species, and similar game terms are used in good faith under the Fair Use Doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107) for the purpose of non-commercial interoperability with the published rulebooks you already own.
No rulebook text is reproduced verbatim beyond short excerpts necessary for the tool to function. Characters generated by this tool are meant to be played using your own legally purchased copy of the Mongoose Traveller 2e Core Rulebook. If you enjoy using this creator, please buy the books — they're excellent.
This project is released for community use as a non-commercial fan work.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Traveller!
This fan-made project was created to help players and referees explore the expanded character creation options available throughout the Traveller line. While these options add incredible depth and variety, assembling them into a usable character creation system can sometimes feel like a game of its own. The goal of this project is to make those choices easier to access so you can spend more time creating characters and telling stories.
Please remember that this is currently a testing site. If you encounter any bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior, please report them on GitHub so they can be investigated and fixed.
This project was always intended to be self-hosted. The public site exists to demonstrate the software and gather feedback, but the long-term goal is for individual groups, clubs, and communities to run their own instances. This avoids relying on a single person's bandwidth and infrastructure, and helps ensure the project's longevity beyond any one developer.
At some point, this public testing instance may be placed behind a username and password system. When that happens, the software itself will remain available for the community to host and use independently.
A special thank you to the team at Mongoose Publishing for creating the Traveller universe and continuing to support one of the greatest science fiction roleplaying games ever made. We love your products and appreciate the years of enjoyment they have provided to the community.
